  • Lake West Ambulance is located on the west side of Lake of the Ozarks including the southern part of Morgan County and the northern part of Camden County. Hwy 5 from south of Gravois Mills to the Niangua Bridge including the community of Greenview. 

Towns and Communities:

  • Lake West Ambulance serves the towns and communities of Laurie, Sunrise Beach, Greenview, Hurricane Deck, along with portions of the Climax Springs and Gravois Mills areas.

District Area:

  • 244 square miles. 

Governing Body:

  • 6 Member Board of Directors elected by the citizens of the district.

Population Served:

  • 10,000 year round residence. 
  • Population swells to 100,000 in the summer months.

Type of Service:

  • Emergency Services and Special Event Stand-by Services. 

Number of Units:

  • 2 full time ALS (Advanced Life Support) Units. 
  • 2 back up units.
  • And a third 12-hour truck on holiday weeks and special events.

Special Events:

  • Lake West Ambulance is available for Special Event Standby service. If you would like our ambulance and crew to stand-by at your event, please contact us.

Stations:

  • North Base - Covers northern portion of our district. From Santa Fe Trail to Spring Cove Rd. This base is located on Cam-Mo Drive at the South end of Laurie.
  • South Base - Covers southern portion of our district. From Spring Cove Road to the Niangua Bridge. Housed at the North 5 and Sellers Rd.

Dispatching:

  • Dispatch is handled by Marcy EMS out of Springfield, MO. All Lake West Ambulance 911 calls are passed through the 911 centers in Morgan and Camden county and then routed to Mercy EMS Dispatch Center.
