In order to alleviate some confusion with the Camden County Ambulance, we began doing business as "Lake West Ambulance" in 2010.

We presently serve 244 square miles on the west side of Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. We cover portions of Camden and Morgan counties, including the towns of Laurie and Sunrise Beach. We also service the communities of Hurricane Deck, Greenview, and Porta Cima.

Our District answers approximately 2100 calls a year for emergency medical care, responding from its two 24-hour staffed stations.

The District is governed by a six member Board of Directors, who are elected by the citizens of the District.

Our funding comes from sales tax and property tax (temporarily), as well as patient billing.
